Dr. Christine Loftus, PT, DPT received her undergraduate degree in Health Sciences from Ithaca College and then furthered her education by receiving her Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from Ithaca College. Christine's desire to become a Physical Therapist began in high school after receiving physical therapy for her own knee injuries from playing soccer and running track.
Christine began her Physical Therapy career in outpatient pediatrics. While there Christine worked with a variety of different diagnoses including torticollis, cerebral palsy, and general gross motor delays. Christine then decided she wanted to pursue a career in the outpatient orthopaedic setting as that was what initially drew her into the career of Physical Therapy. Christine has treated a large variety of musculoskeletal injuries with a strong emphasis on post operative rehabilitation. Christine is Levels I and II Dry Needling Certified, and utilizes therapeutic interventions as well as a patient centered approach to her treatment in order to help patients achieve optimal results.
